Sports Harassment ZERO Association Utilizes e-Learning System, learningBOX, to Achieve Certification Program
learningBOX, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of its e-learning system "learningBOX" by the Sports Harassment ZERO Association (Headquarters: Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture; Representative Director: Mayumi Taniguchi). This partnership has led to the creation of the "Sports Harassment Certification," an official certification specifically focused on the prevention of harassment in the sports field.
This certification is Japan's first (*) initiative that allows everyone involved in sports to systematically learn how to create an environment free from harassment.
The implementation of e-learning has significantly shortened the preparation period for launching the certification and is accelerating the association's activities toward realizing "Supo-Hara ZERO" (Zero Sports Harassment). The organization plans to expand its offerings with an intermediate-level certification in 2026.
*According to surveys by our company and the Sports Harassment ZERO Association, no certification system dedicated to "sports harassment" was confirmed prior to 2024. This makes it the first official certification in this specific field in Japan.

Changing Awareness Through "Non-Judgmental Learning"
The Sports Harassment ZERO Association is a general incorporated association established with the goal of eliminating harassment from the sports community. Despite the "Declaration on the Eradication of Violence" in 2013, problems persisted. The association began its activities in 2021, led by legal scholar Mayumi Taniguchi, and was officially incorporated in March 2024.
Its three guiding principles are: "Do not judge," "Anyone can be a victim or a perpetrator," and "Be a safe space." The association aims for an overhaul of awareness through learning and dialogue, rather than condemning individuals.
Its primary activities include the "Sports Harassment Certification," "Lectures/Seminars," and "Reinstatement Support Programs." The certification program, in particular, offers an opportunity for participants to review their own conduct through systematic learning.
Nationwide Certification Rollout Achieved with E-Learning
When the association decided to launch the certification, they sought to implement an e-learning system but faced challenges with a lack of know-how and funding issues. After extensive research and consultations with various companies, they adopted the cloud-based "learningBOX" for its low cost and ease of use. As a result, the introductory level of the "Sports Harassment Certification" was launched in a short period. Furthermore, the system drastically improved operational efficiency, as tasks like email distribution and notification of successful completion are all handled within the system.
Operational Efficiency: Easy to operate even without specialized knowledge, allowing for a quick launch.
Business Process Streamlining: Exam registration, grading, and success notifications are all completed within the system.
Cost Reduction: The cloud-based system eliminated the need for server construction and maintenance costs.
The association plans to introduce a new "Safeguarding Certification" in 2025 and the intermediate level of the "Sports Harassment Certification" in 2026. They are currently advancing a business partnership with the Nippon Badminton Association and intend to strengthen collaborations with other sports organizations in the future. Together with learningBOX, they aim to expand learning opportunities and achieve "Supo-Hara ZERO."

Comment from Ms. Mayumi Taniguchi, Representative Director of Sports Harassment ZERO Association
"We are an organization that aims to disband the moment we feel harassment has been eliminated from the sports field, and we understand the importance of continuous learning. A perpetrator of harassment may have been a victim in the past, but it is essential to understand the environment they are in, current societal trends, and, above all, the human rights and dignity of others. Furthermore, this knowledge must be updated and put into use. We often hear people say, 'But I don't know how to do that.' Why not join us to acquire knowledge, share wisdom, and create a situation free from harassment?"
Understanding human rights and dignity is crucial. Furthermore, we must keep this knowledge updated and put it to use. Yet, we often hear people say, "But I don't know how to do that." Why not join us in gaining knowledge, sharing wisdom, and creating a harassment-free environment?
