E-learning also improves students' motivation to learn

Suzuka University of Medical Sciences (Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture; President: Nagayasu Toyoda) and learningBOX Corporation will hold a special webinar on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. In this webinar, the university will share its know-how on how it has achieved a 100% pass rate for new graduates in the two national medical examinations for clinical engineering technicians and radiology technicians in the five years since it introduced the learning management system (LMS) "learningBOX" to the entire university.

Special Webinar Background

Since the signing of the MOU in November 2022, the Suzuka University of Medical Science Educational Corporation and MHI have been conducting joint research on new forms of education brought about by EdTech, including information sharing on effective creation of educational materials and mutual proposals for functional improvements, based on comprehensive collaboration.

Suzuka University of Medical Sciences introduced the learning management system (LMS) "learningBOX" for the entire university in 2020. Even though the university was severely affected by the Corona disaster, we have been actively utilizing "learningBOX" to provide multifaceted learning support, including support for students who are particularly behind in their studies. As a result, we have been able to maintain a high pass rate for the national examinations, and we are also making steady progress with the "DX of Learning" through the use of the LMS.

And now, the Department of Clinical Engineering has achieved a new graduate pass rate of 100% in the 2024 National Examination for Clinical Engineering Technicians, and the Department of Radiological Technology and Science has achieved a new graduate pass rate of 100% in the same 2024 National Examination for Radiological Technicians. In the same year, the national pass rate for new graduates was 88.8% for clinical engineering technicians and 92.2% for radiological technicians, which shows the University's superiority.

To mark the milestone of achieving a 100% pass rate in these two national medical examinations, we, the provider of "learningBOX", will hold a special webinar on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, inviting faculty members of Suzuka University of Medical Science. In this webinar, we will disclose the know-how that has enabled the university to achieve a 100%* pass rate on two national medical examinations in the five years since the university-wide introduction of "learningBOX".
