7 New Functions and 13 Functional Improvements
learningBOX, an e-learning system developed and provided by learningBOX, Inc., was successfully upgraded the version. This upgrade will accelerate digitalization in the education and support online high schools that adopt IBT/CBT for examinations, for which demand has been rapidly increasing in recent years. The new version has evolved to be easier to use by adding new functions in 7 items and 13 functional improvements.
Upgrades
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, learningBOX was successfully upgraded from Ver. 2.26 to Ver. 2.27.
New features for IBT and CBT especially for online schools have been added. We will continue to enhance the functionality of the system to improve user-friendly usability.
The following introduce some of the most noteworthy features that have been added this time.
Note-Taking on Questions
A new feature, note-taking, allows learners to write calculations or highlight the question sentence while solving questions. This will help them visualize their thinking process and derive answers as smoothly as they would on a paper-based test.

Contents List
Content List is a new feature for more effective content management. This feature allows you to check and edit settings of each content in one place, and will result in more efficient content management and time-saving.

Future Development
learningBOX major version upgrade is conducted in a shared server four times a year. We improve user experience for all users by adding new features and improving existing features every quarter.
We will work on developing functions including open badges (the world standardized digital certification that allows online verification of qualifications) and rubric evaluation using ChatGPT. We will continue to accelerate digitization and improve quality of education by listening to the voices of customers.
