Summary] The retail industry is facing a gap between practice and training. Training that is in line with on-the-job practice is needed.
We found that nearly 90% of education and training in the retail industry is conducted in-house.
While more than 80% of the respondents believe that the content of annual training should be changed, about 40% said that they have not been able to change it.
One of the challenges in training was the implementation of a training system.
The training system would also allow the company to focus on on-site training and measuring the effectiveness of training.
However, we could see that there were various issues in the background, such as internal coordination for the introduction of the system and what kind of system to choose if it is to be introduced.
