The "learningBOX" e-learning system has surpassed 2,000 participating companies!

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in September 2026; supporting a wide range of learning opportunities, including education for foreign workers, certification exams, understanding of disabilities, and harassment prevention
learningBOX, Inc. is pleased to announce that the number of companies using its e-learning system, “learningBOX,” has surpassed 2,000 as of the end of August 2026.
In addition, “learningBOX” will celebrate its 10th anniversary in September 2026. Since its release in 2016, “learningBOX” has been utilized for a wide range of purposes, including corporate training and talent development, as well as school education and certification exams. Going beyond the scope of simply “moving learning online,” it supports various learning environments, such as education for foreign workers, preparation for certification exams, understanding disabilities, and preventing harassment in sports.
The Potential of "Education" to Support the Resolution of Social Issues
“Education” plays a wide range of roles in addressing the challenges faced by society and the workplace, such as workforce development, expanding learning opportunities, and promoting knowledge and understanding. As the social environment changes—including labor shortages, increasing workforce diversity, and the need to ensure educational opportunities—the nature of education required is also evolving. “learningBOX” has been utilized as a tool to support the diverse forms of learning that arise from these changes in society and the workplace.
The number of companies using the service, which surpassed 1,500 in 2025, reached 2,000 in about a year and a half. In addition to corporate training and school education, the service supports educational initiatives across a wide range of fields.
Certification Exams | Supporting Continuous Learning Through Study During Free Moments

Tokyo Legal Mind Co., Ltd. (LEC) has introduced “learningBOX” into its preparatory courses for national certification exams, such as the Bar Exam and the Administrative Scrivener Exam. In response to the growing number of students who are studying while working, the company has established a digital learning environment that allows students to make use of spare moments, such as while commuting.
Using “learningBOX,” we provide online workbooks, flashcards, and Q&A-style practice content. By creating an environment where students can study from their smartphones anywhere, we support their continued learning. In addition to enabling immediate corrections and updates to questions, this system has streamlined processes such as student registration, resulting in annual cost savings of approximately 500,000 yen and a reduction of about 32 hours in work time per week.
Training for Foreign Workers | Creating an Environment That Encourages Self-Directed Learning and Streamlining Training and Management

ONODERA USER RUN Co., Ltd. provides end-to-end services ranging from training for foreign workers to recruitment and post-employment retention support. The company operates free training centers in the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, Laos, and Uzbekistan, where it provides instruction in Japanese and the “Specified Skilled Worker” program. It has been using “learningBOX” since 2021 to deliver in-house content, including exam preparation for the Specified Skilled Worker program and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. By utilizing “learningBOX,” the company has created an environment where foreign workers can study independently using their smartphones. This has also reduced the workload associated with managing grades and compiling data, thereby supporting operational efficiency in the training department.

Preventing Harassment in Sports | Providing Learning Opportunities Through Certification Exams

The Sports Harassment ZERO Association, a general incorporated association, carries out certification programs, lectures, seminars, and return-to-sport support programs with the goal of “creating a harassment-free sports environment.” Since 2024, the association has implemented “learningBOX” and has been utilizing it for certification programs such as the “Sports Harassment Certification.”
The “Sports Harassment Certification” is a certification program designed to provide systematic learning about human rights and harassment. With the introduction of “learningBOX,” the learning and testing environment required to administer the certification was established in a short period of time. Tasks such as sending emails and issuing passing notifications are handled entirely within the system, creating an environment that allows even a small administrative office to operate efficiently. In addition, the “Safeguarding Certification” was launched in 2025 and is being utilized to provide training on ensuring the safety and security of children in sports settings.

Understanding Disabilities | Expanding Learning Opportunities for an Inclusive Society Through E-Learning

As part of its efforts to realize an inclusive society, the Japan Football Federation for the Disabled (JIFF), a general incorporated association, conducts educational programs for companies, educational institutions, and other organizations. In response to the growing demand for e-learning alternatives to in-person group training and for instruction on how to accommodate individuals with various disabilities, JIFF has introduced “learningBOX.”
We offer an e-learning training program titled “Understanding Disabilities Through Soccer,” consisting of videos ranging from 5 to 15 minutes in length. We provide online opportunities to learn about the social model of disability, the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities, and how to respond appropriately based on specific disability characteristics. By creating an environment that makes learning accessible even to those who previously found it difficult to attend in-person training sessions, we are expanding educational opportunities aimed at realizing an inclusive society.

An e-Learning System That Supports “Creating Education”
Since releasing our e-learning system, “learningBOX,” in September 2016, we have supported education across a wide range of settings, including corporations and schools. Building on this track record, in July 2026, we adopted a new purpose: “Bringing the joy of creating education to everyone.”
Moving forward, we will continue to work closely with the people and organizations that “create education” and support them in building learning environments tailored to their specific goals and challenges, thereby expanding the possibilities of education.
