learningBOX, Inc. has been selected for the Fiscal Year 2025 Regional Category of the "Overseas Deployment Support Project for Safe and Reliable Digital Infrastructure" promoted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC). In response to the rapid population growth in the Philippines, we aim to address social challenges through high-quality education and human resource development. By enhancing the efficiency of teaching material creation and evaluation through our e-learning system, we strive to reduce the burden on trainees and educators, thereby improving individual support. This initiative will also support reskilling in the BPO industry, create employment opportunities for young people, and boost productivity for businesses.

Background of the Selection

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications recognizes that enhancing the international competitiveness of digital infrastructure and solutions, which are the foundation of all economic and social activities is crucial for Japan’s sustainable economic growth and economic security. Promoting the overseas deployment of superior digital solutions developed by local Japanese companies not only helps solve social issues in partner countries and regions and contributes to building safe and reliable digital spaces, but also revitalizes local businesses and their regional economies in Japan. The 2025 “Regional Category” supports local companies’ efforts to discover, propose, and develop overseas projects with the goal of ultimately winning business opportunities abroad.

Our company proposed a plan for the international rollout of “learningBOX,” our e-learning system with a proven track record both domestically and internationally, and has now been selected in the “Project Development” phase. We will strengthen our relationships with counterparts in target countries and regions, providing solutions tailored to local needs. Through these efforts, we aim to address global challenges in education and human resource development, showcase the potential of regional Japanese digital solutions to the world, and contribute to the revitalization of regional economies. We remain committed to these goals moving forward.
