The Japan Association for the Promotion of Educational Informatization (JAPET&CEC) was established to promote the informatization of education in order to realize better education in schools. The organization works to collect and provide various types of information, plan and implement training programs, and engage in public relations and dissemination activities. Specific activities include making proposals and recommendations to the national and local governments, promoting and disseminating the use of ICT to school teachers and boards of education, conducting surveys and R&D activities such as research on the latest trends in informatization of education in Japan and overseas, and training instructors with the keyword "ICT safety and security in the educational field" as it relates to information use skills. We are also engaged in the training of lecturers with the keywords of "ICT safety and security in the educational field" and other information utilization skills.
