
LearningBOX, a cloud-based e-learning system developed by an EdTech startup in Tatsuno, Hyogo Prefecture
learningBOX, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of the 11 finalists for the Kyushu preliminary round of the "Startup World Cup 2025" from among more than 100 companies that applied. As a result of the selection, our representative, Mr. Nishimura, will be speaking at the pitch contest to be held at Kumamoto Castle Hall on Friday, May 23. We will also be exhibiting in the exhibition space at the event to introduce our e-learning system "learningBOX" to interested parties who will attend the event.
About the Startup World Cup
The Startup World Cup is one of the world's largest global pitch contests and conferences organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures of the U.S. Launched in 2017, this will be the seventh annual event. Regional qualifiers will be held in more than 100 countries and regions around the world, and the winners of the regional qualifiers will be invited to compete in the World Finals to be held in San Francisco in the fall of 2025, with approximately 150 million yen in investment prize money for the world champion. The Startup World Cup offers attractive benefits such as the world champion investment prize money, a chance to raise funds from global investors, networking with companies and celebrities, and a chance to raise their profile not only in Japan but also globally.

About the Speaker Representative Nishimura

After graduating from Keio University graduate school (software engineering research) in 2007, he joined Kiban Corporation, an e-learning specialist, and moved to Kiban International Inc. following the company split in 2009. 2011, he became independent and developed and released "QuizGenerator," a quiz creation system. In July 2012, he established Tatsuno Information System Co., Ltd. and became its president. e-learning system "learningBOX" was developed and released in January 2016, and in July 2022, the company name was changed to learningBOX Co. Deepened his career in EdTech system development from 2007 to the present, and oversees the development department as CTO.
