Overview
PRONEXUS Inc. primarily supports listed companies with the preparation and disclosure of statutory documents. The company previously faced several challenges with their former e-learning system, including issues such as character corruption when uploading PDF data and the inability to obtain anything other than user IDs in course completion records, resulting in a heavy burden of cross-referencing IDs with employee names.
In addition to these technical issues, there were internal requests to move away from passive training—where employees simply viewed slides converted from PDFs—to a more engaging and interactive learning experience. There was also a need for real-time tracking of training progress.
Initially, PRONEXUS was considering the adoption of another system. However, as the HR department decided to implement “Kaonavi” (an HR platform), they were introduced to “learningBOX,” which offers seamless integration with Kaonavi. Upon trial, the system proved to be intuitive and easy to use even without a manual, and the cost remained lower than expected—even with the paid option for a dedicated server. As a result, PRONEXUS decided to implement learningBOX in 2022. The system is now used for training approximately 1,000 employees and an additional 500 employees from group companies.
Since implementation, the launch of new training programs has become much smoother. In addition to company-wide “Information Security” training, over 60 training sessions—including ad hoc seminars—were launched in a single year, demonstrating active utilization. Feedback from employees indicates that the new system is extremely easy to understand and represents a dramatic improvement over the previous solution.
While some challenges remain regarding user settings, the time required for user registration—including the confirmation and updating of new hires and retirees—has been reduced by 88% since adopting learningBOX. Similarly, the time spent creating and distributing lists of untrained employees by department has been reduced by an impressive 97%.

Beyond the creation of training materials and quizzes, some instructors are now using the system to build libraries of essential knowledge and know-how. Looking ahead, PRONEXUS plans to further leverage learningBOX as a platform for knowledge sharing and to provide content to partner companies, as part of ongoing business process improvements.
